The Dam is Breaking: Voices for Palestine Are Growing Louder

September 13, 2025

Two days ago, the Emmy Awards became more than just a celebration of television — it became a stage for truth-telling. Jewish actress Hannah Einbinder, star of Hacks, stood in front of a live global audience, accepted her award, and declared: “FREE PALESTINE.”

Backstage, she made her position even clearer: “It is my obligation as a Jewish person to distinguish Jews from the State of Israel.” Her words reverberated far beyond the theater. They underscored a reality that is breaking through the walls of silence — more and more people are refusing to stay quiet in the face of genocide.

Cultural Icons Taking a Stand

Einbinder wasn’t alone. On the red carpet, Javier Bardem walked proudly in a keffiyeh, a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people. He told reporters he “cannot work with someone who justifies or supports the genocide.”

When artists, actors, and cultural figures take public stands, they shatter the illusion that genocide can be ignored. Their courage sparks conversation in living rooms, on social feeds, and across communities worldwide.

Political Shifts in Real Time

The cracks are showing in politics, too. In Ohio, State Senator Beth Liston cancelled a planned legislative trip to Israel after hearing directly from her constituents. She admitted that they helped her understand “the harm of this approach.”

That shift matters. It proves what we’ve been saying all along: when everyday people raise their voices, politicians listen. Constituents can change the course of policy — and they are.

The Momentum Is Building

We are watching the dam break. People are saying it out loud:

  • It’s okay to call out genocide.

  • It’s okay to say no to AIPAC.

  • It’s okay to say children deserve to live.

And thanks to this movement, we’ve crossed $100,000 in cash on hand. That milestone isn’t just a number — it’s proof that we are ready to fight harder, faster, and smarter than AIPAC ever expected.

What We’re Doing With Your Support

Because of this groundswell, we now have the resources to:

  • Expose AIPAC’s lies and propaganda in real time.

  • Respond immediately to attacks on pro-Palestine communities.

  • Amplify the voices of AIPAC-free candidates who refuse to bow to lobbyist pressure.

  • Invest where it counts most to protect candidates and communities under fire.

We are building a political firewall against AIPAC’s corruption. Our mission is simple: make taking AIPAC money a political liability, and ensure that anti-genocide candidates have the backing they need to win.

The Road Ahead

We are going to move faster than AIPAC can attack. We are already further along than they’d like us to be. Every public stand, every constituent phone call, every act of courage — from the red carpet to the statehouse — chips away at the silence AIPAC depends on.

The movement is growing. The voices are louder. The tide is turning.

Gaza can’t wait. Free Palestine.
