While France Recognizes Palestine, MAGA Influencers Sell Out for Israeli Propaganda

As the world moves toward justice for Palestinians, MAGA influencers are being flown to Israel to spread propaganda, funded through the same tax loopholes AIPAC has exploited for decades.
This week, France made history by becoming the first major Western power to formally recognize Palestinian statehood. The announcement, delivered by French President Emmanuel Macron, marks a turning point in global momentum for Palestinian rights. It follows a joint statement by 28 Western countries, including Canada, Australia, and Italy, calling for an immediate end to Israel’s war on Gaza. The message was clear: the international community can no longer turn a blind eye to the mounting death toll, mass starvation, and targeted killings of journalists in Gaza.
Yet while global consensus moves toward justice, the United States is sinking deeper into complicity. This time, by exporting MAGA-style propaganda on Israel’s behalf.
Journalists in Gaza Are Being Starved — Literally
Major media outlets have taken the extraordinary step of issuing a joint plea for help. AFP, BBC, AP, and Reuters released a joint statement expressing "desperate concern" for their journalists in Gaza who are being "increasingly unable to feed themselves and their families."
These are not rhetorical flourishes. Over 200 journalists have already been killed by Israeli forces during the ongoing war, making it one of the deadliest conflicts for press freedom in modern history. Those who remain now face displacement, starvation, and the constant threat of death for simply doing their jobs.
And while reporters beg for food and security, pro-Trump influencers are boarding planes to Tel Aviv.
Israel’s New Propaganda Weapon: MAGA Influencers
Israel’s foreign ministry is funding an all-expenses-paid tour for 16 MAGA influencers, each with hundreds of thousands to millions of followers. These are not independent thinkers going on a fact-finding mission. They are being sent to receive training and messaging directives explicitly crafted to align with the Israeli government’s official narrative on Palestine.
The goal is to weaponize their reach and flood American social media with disinformation and pro-Israel talking points, all disguised as “independent” opinion.
This is not new. It is a tactic perfected by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) through its tax-exempt arm, the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF). For decades, AIEF has flown members of Congress to Israel on “educational trips” with luxury accommodations, private briefings, and carefully staged photo ops. All of it funded by donations that qualify for U.S. tax breaks.
AIEF and AIPAC even share office space. Their operations are functionally intertwined, allowing AIPAC to use a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to do what would otherwise violate lobbying laws. It is known as the AIPAC loophole and it is one of the most brazen legal workarounds for foreign influence in American politics.
Now, that same playbook is being used to turn right-wing influencers into megaphones for a foreign government.
The American People Are Waking Up
What AIPAC and its partners do not want you to know is that their grip is slipping.
Only 23 percent of Americans now say Israel’s military actions in Gaza are justified. That is down from 50 percent in October 2023, a 27-point collapse in less than a year. Among Democrats, support has plummeted to just 7 percent. Even among Republicans, support has dropped by 16 points.
The tide is turning across every demographic, and it is not just about military policy. A majority of Americans now hold unfavorable views of Israel in general. This is the lowest level of support recorded in nearly five decades of public polling.
This shift did not happen on its own. It happened because activists, journalists, organizers, and everyday people stood up and refused to be silenced. It happened because communities demanded accountability for war crimes, demanded justice for the murdered, and refused to let AIPAC dictate the terms of debate.
The Battle Ahead: Propaganda vs. Truth
As MAGA influencers return from their Israeli-funded propaganda trips, expect to see a surge in disinformation online. Expect talking points that echo official Israeli government lines, framed as “common sense.” Expect emotional appeals designed to distract from the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza. Expect memes and videos that try to erase the reality of more than 38,000 Palestinians dead, tens of thousands more wounded, and millions starving under siege.
But also expect this: pushback.
Groups like Citizens Against AIPAC Corruption are organizing to expose this propaganda, educate the public, and dismantle the financial and political infrastructure that makes it possible. We exist to elect candidates who reject AIPAC money, to defeat lawmakers who take it, and to expose AIPAC’s foreign influence operations at every level.
France took a stand. The world is watching. And America needs to catch up before more lives are lost, more journalists are silenced, and more democracy is bought and sold in secret.
