Mallory McMorrow
Democratic Primary Candidate
U.S. Senate, Michigan
Israel-Palestine Record
2023
McMorrow praised the “incredible expertise” of IDF soldiers after a 2023 trip to Israel with AIPAC’s nonprofit arm, the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF).
McMorrow says Israel is "one of the most important countries to democracy and to the world" and "it's really hard to understand the reality of the situation if you've never been there and you've never seen it and you've never talked to the people directly..."
2025
Reporting by Jewish Insider revealed that McMorrow had written a position paper for “at least one Democratic pro-Israel group.”
McMorrow attended an invite-only AIPAC event on May 1, 2025 featuring a right-wing propagandist who accuses journalists of being Hamas and even doubted that there was starvation in Gaza.
McMorrow continues to support “defensive” weapons transfers to Israel funded by U.S. taxpayers.
McMorrow privately drafted an “outstanding” AIPAC position paper, a supporter said in a leaked audio recording.
2026
McMorrow called Israel’s actions a genocide under duress, then immediately walked it back when it became inconvenient.
McMorrow endorsed Jordan Acker, a vocally pro-Israel candidate, for re-election to the University of Michigan Board of Regents. This endorsement comes after years of Regent Acker persecuting anti-genocide student protestors in that very same role.
McMorrow smeared activist Hasan Piker as an antisemite and compared him to a neo‑Nazi, offering no evidence to back up her claims, because her primary opponent Abdul El‑Sayed is hosted a campaign rally with him.
